Description

The Thornhill Child Care Society was established on December 2nd 1974. We are a non-profit Society run by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of community residents many of whom either of our child care centres or our Day Home program.

We are a family support service. Our programs are directed towards enhancing the development of children's sense of security self-worth self-respect self-sufficiency and self-control. We believe that high quality child care should be available to all children therefore we provide an integrated program.

Our objectives are to provide quality child care which we consider to be a supportive positive and educational experience for the child and family. We offer individual programming for children who have more specialized needs.

Our programs are designed to help children grow physically intellectually socially & emotionally through spontaneous involvement with their environment.
